Welcome to the new Terroir Amarone initiative.
What we would accomplish is to communicate Valpolicella wines to wine professionals and wine lovers with an international perspective.
Amarone della Valpolicella is for sure the most renowned wine from this region. Perception among wine experts seems to be that Amarone wines come from indistinct areas of production. But Valpolicella production region is wide and very complex, with so many different types and styles of Amarone, due to different soils and terroirs, and consolidated techniques among winemakers.
As wine professional we live and work in Valpolicella: so, our aim is to detail wines, areas of production, different styles, villages’ profiles, wineries, maps, vintages, tasting notes, events.
You’ll find infos on this web site, on our newsletter and through different social media we are going to implement. Some contents will be free, some more relevant to professionals will be charged.
